We welcome your feedback in relation to our services, enabling us to continually improve these services and ensure that we are meeting your needs. Any feedback you provide, will not adversely affect the level of care you or your loved one receives from Jewish Care. You may also provide feedback anonymously, however we cannot keep you informed on the progress or outcome of the Your Say feedback you have submitted.

Volunteer Training & Events

Network, socialise and grow

The Volunteer Program offers volunteers excellent opportunities to gain new skills, network and socialise with other volunteers and staff as part of a meaningful volunteer experience at Jewish Care.

Training and events include:

Cultural Events: Based around Jewish holidays and public commemorative days, events for staff and volunteers are run by our Jewish Life team. 

Special Events: Organised by the Volunteer Program staff, these events include festival packing bees, Mitzvah Day activities and National Volunteer Week celebrations. So too, many programs and homes organise their own volunteer events throughout the year.

Staff and Volunteer Awards Ceremony: Held annually to celebrate exceptional contributions of staff and volunteers nominated for service and excellence awards.

Orientation and Training: All volunteers will undergo orientation upon commencement as well as inclusion training and any other training that is applicable to each role. You will also be invited to an annual volunteer development day.
