Social Services

The Social Services team provide a range of supports to individuals and families across the Victorian Jewish community.

From urgent support for those in crisis, to assistance with managing everyday challenges, to community education and mentoring, we provide an ‘end-to-end’ response to support a safe, healthy and thriving Jewish community. Our services are highly professionalised.

Our work is aligned to best practice across the broader social services sector, and we work collaboratively with partner organisations both within and beyond the Jewish community. You can feel assured that your information will always be treated confidentially.

We understand that reaching out can be hard, and that many in our community may experience feelings of shame or embarrassment when asking for help. We pride ourselves on providing safe, inclusive and non-judgemental support that is sensitive to the cultural and religious needs of our community.

Our staff speak multiple languages and reflect the diversity of our Jewish and broader Australian community.
