Supporting the strain on health services

22 July 2022

As many are aware, there is an unprecedented COVID-19 impact on our health services at the current time. As reported in the media, this is leading to an increase in emergency presentations, delays in ambulance patient transfers and a scale-back in elective surgery.

Jewish Care is working closely with Alfred Health to transfer some of their patients into our Residential Home in Windsor. These patients are selected on an individual basis, to ensure that they are suitable for the environment and care which we provide.

Lisa Kennett, President of Jewish Care says “We are working very fast to respond to this pressing need and are privileged to be able to assist in this time of the wider community need. We warmly welcome patients from Alfred Health to experience our Jewish Care environment as they recover”.
