As a Volunteer - Pet Visitation Companion, you and your pet will have the heart-warming opportunity to bring happiness and companionship to our residents. Your visits with your beloved pet can create moments of joy and connection, brightening the days of our elderly community members.
Responsibilities
- Visiting residents with your friendly and vaccinated pet.
- Engaging in friendly conversations and providing companionship.
- Following safety guidelines, including ensuring your pet wears a collar at all times.
- Spreading smiles and warmth through the presence of your furry companion.
Working Hours
Flexible scheduling based on your availability, typically during designated visiting hours.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- A well-behaved and vaccinated pet with a friendly temperament.
- Responsible pet ownership, including always keeping your pet on a collar.
- A warm and compassionate personality.
- A willingness to interact with elderly residents and share the joy of pet companionship.
