About the Role

Yeshivah - Beth Rivkah Colleges is an Independent School based in St Kilda East in Melbourne, and is comprised of two Primary and two Secondary Schools, an Early Learning Centre and a Creche.

We are dedicated to providing an exceptional education to all Jewish children in a welcoming and safe environment, enabling them to achieve personal excellence and fulfilment. 

Our Girls' Secondary School is seeking 2 excellent Learning Enhancement Integration Aides to join our team of dedicated educators for a 2025 Term 1 start. These will be 2 part time roles.
 

About the role: 

  • To support students with their physical, emotional and learning needs.
  • Be responsible for coordinating with the relevant school staff to ensure all their needs are met.
  • To make themselves and the students they are assisting, a part of the whole class setting rather than an isolated unit within the classroom.
  • Assist the students with adaptive/assistive technology.
  • Assist with creating alternate tasks for the students.

Qualifications/Skills Required

About You: 

  • A good ability to work independently and take initiative to plan and complete tasks.
  • To be aware of the teacher's expectations of the students in the class and to support teachers in the modification of student's programs.
  • Previous experience will be required working with children/students with special learning needs.
  • Experience working in social work or counselling/teaching will be advantageous.
