About the Role

Do you have a passion for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents? Join us as a Beautician Volunteer at Jewish Care Victoria's Residential Home in Carnegie and be a part of our delightful experience.

As a Beautician Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to provide female residents with massages, facial hair removal, and small makeup applications. Your primary responsibility is to help female residents feel welcomed and valued through your cheerful demeanour. You'll play a crucial role in brightening their day.

Responsibilities:

  • Serving female residents with a friendly smile and a welcoming attitude.
  • Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the wellness area.
  • Engaging in conversations and providing companionship to residents and their family members.
  • Assisting with simple beauty tips and tasks to ensure residents are happy.

Working Hours

Flexible scheduling based on your availability. You can volunteer for a few hours one day a week or for multiple days, depending on your preference and availability.

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • No specific knowledge or qualifications required.
  • A warm and friendly demeanour.
  • A willingness to engage with residents and their families to create a welcoming environment.
