Any feedback you provide, will not adversely affect the level of care you or your loved one receives from Jewish Care. Solidarity for Israel

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the horrific terrorist attacks by Hamas over the weekend and the escalating crisis ensuing in Israel.

Jewish Care condemns these violent attacks on innocent Israeli citizens. Our heartfelt thoughts are with the families and relatives in Israel who have tragically lost loved ones and wish a speedy recovery to those who have been injured during these atrocities. We take a moment to stop and mourn the tragic loss of Israel Defence Force (IDF) soldiers who have lost their lives defending Israel.

Our community is in shock following these unprecedented attacks with many anxiously waiting to hear if their relatives and loved ones are safe. Jewish Care Victoria is on alert to any local escalation of antisemitic sentiment and asks the local community to remain vigilant with regard to unusual behaviour or activity.

Please note that we are working in conjunction with the Community Security Group (CSG) to monitor the local community situation. At this stage, no additional safety measures have been recommended by CSG. We will be constantly assessing the risk and evaluating our response. Updates will be posted on our website as required and please visit www.jewishcare.org.au for the latest information.

During these incredibly difficult times, we continue to remind the community that we have support services available to our staff, residents and clients who need assistance.
