Jewish Care is delighted to announce the appointment of Rabbi Ralph Genende OAM to the senior leadership team as General Manager, Jewish Life - Senior Rabbi.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rabbi Genende to lead our Jewish Life team. With his prominence in the community, respected thought leadership, and depth of expertise, Rabbi Genende will be a welcome addition to our very capable leadership team,” said Susie Ivany OAM, President.
Rabbi Ralph is a well-known and most revered Rabbi in the community, having most recently been the Senior Rabbi at Caulfield Hebrew Congregation. Prior to that he was the College Rabbi at Mount Scopus College and Rabbi of Beit Aharon congregation. In 2018, Rabbi Genende was awarded an OAM for his services to multi-faith relations, and to the Jewish community of Victoria. Rabbi Genende is a trained counsellor with a master’s degree from Auckland University.

Rabbi Genende will commence with Jewish Care in November 2021.
