The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) recently conducted an unannounced quality audit assessment at Residential Home Windsor against the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Residential Home Windsor successfully met all 12 assessed standards following some recommendations for improvement during last year’s quality audit. Following that audit, a rigorous continuous quality improvement program was undertaken to address the recommendations and the program remains in place.
ACQSC assessors conducted the quality assessment over two days and interviewed twenty-two residents and five resident representatives as part of the quality assessment process.
Feedback from residents was overwhelmingly positive, “The staff are wonderful”, “Staff are the best and I call them room angels” and “Carers are excellent”.
“I would like to thank and recognise our wonderful staff for their continued commitment to excellence in care and acknowledge the staff and residents who assisted assessors during the two-day process,” said Adjunct Prof. Alan Lilly, Chief Executive, Jewish Care (Victoria).
Jewish Care strives to provide the highest level of care and safety and will always monitor and evaluate for continuous improvement.
