Today's Earthquake

22 September 2021

To all Jewish Care elders, clients, families and staff

Whilst we are always most respectful of the sanctity of the High Holidays, we felt it was important that we let our community know, following today’s earthquake experienced across Melbourne and parts of Victoria, all elders and clients living in our residential homes are safe and well.

Staff have mobilised quickly to ensure the welfare of the thousands of people we support.  Minor infrastructure damage is being made safe and repaired.

We remind our community to stay alert and monitor the Emergency Victoria website.

Lastly, we encourage all in our community to reach out if you need help by calling our Helpline on 8517 5555.

Wishing continued safety to all.
