Yeshivah - Beth Rivkah Colleges is an Independent Jewish School based in St Kilda East, Melbourne. It’s made up of two Primary and Secondary Schools (Boys only and Girls only), a highly respected Early Learning Centre and a Creche.

Our Girls' Secondary School is currently looking for an exceptional Secondary Humanities Teacher. This is a permanent, part-time position.
In a nutshell the role entails the usual key teaching responsibilities focusing on Humanities:
- Planning and implementation of a curriculum of teaching programs or courses of study using a range of teaching techniques and materials
- Planning, implementing and marking a variety of assessment tasks to monitor students’ progress
- Implementation of strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes
- Maintenance of records of class attendance and recording of student progress
- Liaison with students and parents
- Implementation of effective student management strategies consistent with the school’s behaviour management plan
- Attendance at regular staff and curriculum planning meetings
- Provide supervision of students during recess, as timetabled

Qualifications/Skills Required
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Education (Bachelor degree or higher)
- Current VIT registration
- Comfort and experience in teaching Secondary level relevant curriculum in Humanities
- High level of attention to detail and empathy to be able to pivot to the students' needs
