We are dedicated to providing an exceptional education to all Jewish children in a welcoming and safe environment, enabling them to achieve personal excellence and fulfilment. 

Our Girls' Secondary School is seeking an exceptional Maths Teacher for years 7-10. This is a permanent, part-time position with a Term 1 2025 start. 

 

About The Role:

  • Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas of Mathematics Secondary Years
  • Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study
  • Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes
  • Create and enhance a positive, safe and challenging learning environment
  • Reflect on and improve professional knowledge and practice
  • Support and adhere to School Policies, protocols and processes (e.g. reporting, documentation, examinations etc)

Qualifications/Skills Required

About you:

  • Current VIT registration required
  • Thorough and updated knowledge of the secondary Maths curriculum
  • Resilience, empathy and patience in approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication skills and flexible on tailoring to varying student needs
